With 11 welcoming wooden chalets, dotted around a thriving forest garden, Inyathi Guest Lodge gives the feeling of a sleepy African village, despite being right in the heart of bustling Knysna! A perfectly positioned Bed and Breakfast, within easy walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and the waterfront.

Each unique chalet is individually decorated with traditional African arts and crafts from different parts of the continent, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the abundant bird song and beautiful garden scenery. The luxurious Victorian style baths, stained glass windows, crisp cotton linen and comfortable beds, compliment the experience of the African idyll.

Directions to Inyathi Guest Lodge Knysna

Inyathi Guest Lodge is conveniently located just off the main road (N2), which runs through the centre of Knysna, 493km east of Cape Town and 268km west of Port Elizabeth with the closest airport being in George (75 km).

From the Cape Town/George direction, stay on the N2, which changes into Main Road as you drive into Knysna. We’re on the left about 400m after the first traffic light/robot and directly after the BP petrol station.

From the Plettenberg Bay/Port Elizabeth direction, follow the N2/Main Road all the way through the centre of town. We’re on your right just after the Shell Garage.

Check-in is between 14:00 – 18:00 hrs. Please call us, if you will be arriving earlier or later, so we can make arrangements for someone to greet you.

Please note we have 8 on-site parking spaces, allocated on a first come first served basis, after this, there is plenty of off street parking next door in Pledge Square.
